EDC Defensive Tactics
Course Description
This course builds on the essential skills taught in “EDC Pistol Foundations” by introducing the use of defensive movement and tactics proven to help you succeed and survive deadly force encounters. Truly be prepared for everyday life with your EDC skills.
Topics covered include: Fighter Mindset, Situational Awareness, Defensive Optics Considerations, Instinctive/Combat Shooting, Achieving A One Second Draw, Compromised Shooting, One-Handed Weapon Manipulations, Dynamic Movement (shooting while moving), Ambush/Counter Ambush, Engaging Mass Shooter Threats, Post Engagement Procedures, and much more.

Training System
Our proprietary system of Defensive Firearms skills and tactics training has been carefully crafted with the best principles from top law enforcement and warfighter experience to give you the ultimate training advantage. Our approach puts these complex concepts and techniques into simple, easy to learn principles that have the power to save your life. This is unlike any training you’ve ever taken.

Training Mission
We are not here to simply teach you how to shoot a pistol because knowing “how to shoot” is not enough when it comes to real life self-defense. Our mission is to give you the knowledge and skills you need to be an effective protector and succeed in high-stress deadly threat encounters where milliseconds count and the wrong moves could have long lasting consequences.

Training Facilities
That’s right, this is not some “shooting in the desert” type of opperation. Our firearms courses are taught at a Professional State-Of-The-Art shooting range located in Southern Utah just 15 minutes from St. George! This allows us to integrate advanced drills and instruction techniques to help you quickly become a more prepared protector.
Course Pre-Requisites:
Basic Pistol: While it is not required for you to take the course, you must be able to demonstrate the skills learned in Basic Pistol. This amounts to safe handling of a gun under live-fire circumstances. This is NOT an entry level course but one that builds your skills off of a foundation of safety and proper foundation learned in Basic Pistol. If you are competent handling a handgun safely on a range in a live-fire setting, you will be able to take Defensive Pistol.
